I need to find cheaper toys....
Everyone starts somewhere and I certainly started with almost nothing when it comes to my photography career. My first SLR was a Minolta and was certainly not a professional grade camera. But, people hired me still and with every assignment I was able to upgrade my equipment. (BTW-my first wedding was $50!)
Well, the upgrading continues because I just upgraded to the grand daddy of them all. I love this lens! It is the Nikon 70-200/2.8 VR lens. The VR is awesome. Typically when you zoom all the way out on other lenses you have to use a tripod because the vibration is so bad. But, with the VR (Vibration Reduction) you can get nice crisp clear pictures almost all of the time without being restricted to using a tripod!
Here are a couple pictures I took just for the fun of it. A dying tulip (nice, huh?) and my adorable nephew Treyce.

Love the lens but wow is that sucker heavy!! Pretty soon we'll have the muscles to show for it!! :)
