Julie

Monday night I met up with Julie to do her senior pictures! Julie is going to be a senior at West Ottawa High this year. Julie's mom contacted me a few weeks ago and told me that Julie would be a natural in front of the camera. Boy, was she right! Now, I am not sure if it is because she watches America's Next Top Model or if it is because she was a dancer but whatever the reason, Julie you did great! You are just so cute and you have some awesome eyes to photograph.

After a round of indoor shots we headed to downtown GR. Seems like I have been down there a lot lately. But GR rocks so I am all for that anytime. We scoped out a couple new places and I got some of my favorite shots there.

Now, I asked Julie to do ONE simple thing for me that whole night. You know what it was? I asked her to make sure that I did not leave my reflector anywhere. At a wedding a few weeks ago, I left one of my reflectors downtown and still haven't found it and I seem to have a problem remembering to pick them up after I set them down.
So, I am driving home that night and was just thinking about all sorts of things. Then....I remembered. I didn't see my stinken reflector when I packed up the back of my car. I pulled into Applebees, I'm sure I made quite a scene (when I get all frustrated I call myself Summer Jean Vander Wal and huff and puff) and turned around to head back to GR to see if I could find it. Low and behold, it was in the first spot we went! Yay for me! So, thanks Julie for watching out for me and making sure I didn't leave it anywhere.... :o) LOL!

Anyway, Julie you are just so sweet and I had a grand time hanging out with you. I hope that your senior year has all kinds of great things in store for you. Enjoy your preview!


Oh yeah, doesn't she look like Jessica Alba??? And the dress that she is wearing in the slideshow...she made that! Holy Cow!
